GREAT GITE. Really nice gite; well presented and perfect for a couple; especially with dog in tow. Open plan throughout with mezzanine for bedroom; very spacious for 2. Bathroom also good size and well equipped kitchen. Normally don’t go for shared pools but in this case was no problem; adjoining gite for a group of 4 had a family but their hours and ours never seemed to clash. Outside space; although small was perfectly adequate; space for sun loungers, table chairs and included a bbq. Self contained also so dog could roam free. Locally not a huge amount to do; breakfast croissants from about 3 miles away and similar distance to nearest restaurant. Inland vendee is largely rural so is more a place to ‘do’ rather than to ‘see’. We were blessed with great weather but you might struggle to fill your time if this were not the case.
